The incubator companies Habitat is focused on development of new technology-based enterprises in the life sciences sector. In order to offer greater training to entrepreneurs and strengthen the development of marketing initiatives, business planning and implementation of sales processes in companies, in partnership with Wylinka was taught the course “Marketing Strategy – Marketing New Products and Technology Services.”
In the course we were presented basic concepts about the importance of market research and understanding of customer expectations, prior to construction of commercial planning. They were also presented concepts about the 4 P’s of marketing: product, price, place and promotion, highlighting the analysis and the importance of each of them within the context of the incubated companies in the Habitat. For better understanding of the course content, activities were held experiential group in which participants worked to propose the concept of new products, evaluating the highlight points and the critical points of the process.

In addition to the concepts of marketing, during the course we were also discussed aspects related to the Customer Development methodology, author Steve Blanck. This methodology has been widely applied for startups around the world to test and validate their business models and market acceptance of its products and services.
